Principal's Welcome.
Welcome to the Hanmer Springs Primary School Website. Our school is located in the middle of an Alpine Resort with fantastic views of the mountains which surround the Hanmer Basin.
Hanmer Springs School caters for children from Year 0 to Year 8, and
provides a positive and supportive learning environment which respects the individuality of each child. We cater for the children's individual learning needs by identifying strengths and barriers, helping children to succeed, encouraging growth in self-confidence and by preparing children for lifelong learning through a balanced curriculum. View our recent Education Review Office report here. CITIZENSHIP underpins our learning for 2012 and is our future focused theme.
Important school wide learning outcomes for our children this year include:

Among many things children will be learning to:

We welcome parents, caregivers and new members of the Hanmer community. We have an open door policy and look forward to building on and creating new partnerships as we work together to engage children in learning and achievement.
